From Sorrow To Dancing – The recent widow’s handbook
Life’s challenges illuminate struggle of those coping with loss
Having weathered widowhood twice, author pens book to help others.
From Sorrow to Dancing portrays the emotions, thoughts, actions, and experiences of widows as they struggle through the aftermath of losing a spouse and it addresses key situations where decisions can change lives for the better. If you, or someone you know, feel stuck in grief, loss, or fear, this book is for you.
When words don’t seem adequate, demonstrate your concern and support by presenting her with this healing and unique gift of friendship. The focus of this gift is Marcy Kelly’s insightful book about the struggle a woman faces after the loss of a spouse.

If you have lost a partner or know someone who has, this book is invaluable. Filled with practical suggestions, sound advice, and words of profound wisdom that only someone who has lived through it – twice – could give, From Sorrow to Dancing is a quick and easy read. This book is destined to help countless heartbroken people emerge from the other side of grief to find joy, love, and meaning. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Thanks so much for the lovely book! I read it all in one night! It was valuable to me as a divorced person who felt like (her) husband had died!
I wanted to let you know that the members (of the grief group) had very positive feedback about your presentation. As I predicted, (after your talk), they were much more open to talk about future plans and one of them even mentioned the word “dating”. I think your presentation really helped them to feel and accept that it is OK for them to look for a better life. (One member) had good comments about the insight she gained from reading other women’s stories in your book.Isabel
In From Sorrow to Dancing, Marcy Kelly gently takes our hands and guides us through the steps of grieving, providing compassion and practical wisdom to help refocus a life shattered by the loss of a spouse. A moving and healing book!
